      Note: South Dakota Corn Husking's finances and details like insurance are handled through Dakota Heritage, Inc. Dakota Heritage, Inc. was formed in 1976 with the specific intent of reviving a South Dakota Corn Husking Contest. A second goal, not achived, was support of other events that showed aspects of early South Dakota farm life.
